🔄 Profiles, Shortcuts & Profile Lock
These combos work while you're playing, without opening the OLED menu.

💡 If the script stops responding, deactivate and reactivate it with L2 + Share/Touchpad, or switch to another script slot and back to reset it.
The 2 profiles
RocketMod has 2 independent profiles — for example, one config for your primary weapon and one for your secondary. Each profile keeps its own Anti-Recoil values (vertical/horizontal).
The controller LED tells you which one is active: green = Profile 1, white = Profile 2.
Restore vs re-learn a profile (L2 + Left / L2 + Right)
These two shortcuts exist in every Weapon Detect mode, and what they do depends on how long you hold them:

The long press fires as soon as the hold crosses the threshold — you don't need to release the buttons. That threshold is adjustable in the OLED menu under COMBAT → WEAPON DETECT → Hold (ms) (100–1000, default 400): lower it if the long press feels slow, raise it if short presses keep turning into unwanted re-learns.
A long press shows two confirmations, at two different moments:
READY TO LEARN, thenPRIMARY/SECONDARY— the instant the hold crosses the threshold. The slot is wiped and ready, but nothing has been learned yet. This one stays on screen until you actually fire.WEAPON SET TO PRIMARY/SECONDARY— replaces it the moment you fire and the weapon is attributed. This one clears itself after about a second.
If you never fire after a long press, the first message simply stays up. That's expected — nothing has been attributed yet.
⚠️ Share + Triangle and Share + Circle are not the gentle version of these. They force their profile and always wipe what it learned, whether you wanted that or not. For "just put the right profile back", use a plain short press.
Profile Lock
Profile Lock freezes the active profile so nothing can switch it by accident — not Triangle, not the LB/RB scroll inside the menu, not the forced-reset shortcuts above. Only another L2 + Circle + Left unlocks it.
- Why: each profile has its own Anti-Recoil values. A thumb slipping onto Triangle mid-fight silently changes your recoil compensation. The lock stops that.
- How to activate: hold L2 + Circle + ←(left). A brief ON/OFF confirmation appears, and a small lock icon stays next to the profile name on the main screen while active.
- Scope: the lock only blocks switching profiles — you keep playing normally on whichever profile stayed active.
Saving
Press Circle (○) to save and exit — or your Crouch button if you've set a custom Button Layout.
