🚀 Button Layout

A button layout defines which controller button performs which action (jump, aim, shoot, sprint, etc.) based on a chosen scheme.
Some layouts are designed to speed up actions, improve mobility in combat, or enhance accessibility (e.g., one‑handed play or left‑handed players).

⚙️ Set Your Layout in the Script

  1. Open misc
  2. Go to buttons layout
  3. Select the layout that matches your game's controller scheme

That's it — your RocketMod mappings will now follow the selected layout.

None of the 22 presets match?

Select Custom Mapping (the last entry in the layout list), press Cross (✕), then press each action yourself — Fire, Aim, Jump, and so on — to build your own layout from scratch.

While you map each action, you can correct yourself or move on:

  • L2 + Circle (○) resets the mapping you just recorded, so you can press another button for that action.
  • L2 + Cross (✕) moves on to the next action.

💡 Pro Tips

  • Keep your in‑game button layout and your script layout in sync to avoid mismatch.
  • If you experiment with mobility‑focused layouts (e.g., Bumper Jumper, Stick & Move), re‑train muscle memory in a private match first.
  • For left‑handed play or accessibility, try Lefty or 1‑Hand Gunslinger variants.
