Hold Breath

RocketMod's Hold Breath mod on Cronus Zen presses L3 for you at regular intervals while you aim or sprint. Breath Timer, Time before and Cooldown explained.

Published

🌬️ Hold Breath

While you're aiming (L2) or sprinting, Hold Breath automatically presses L3 (Sprint) at regular intervals to simulate holding your breath β€” the in-game steadying used by snipers and marksman rifles. You get the effect on a loop without clicking L3 yourself.

It sits in the AIM category: D-pad Right on the mod row toggles it, Cross (βœ•) opens its settings.

Settings

SettingWhat it does
Breath Timer (s)How long the breath stays held (L3 held down) each cycle
Time before (s)Delay before the first hold starts after you begin aiming
Cooldown (ms)Pause between two hold cycles β€” the time L3 is released

One full cycle is therefore: Time before β†’ hold for Breath Timer β†’ release for Cooldown β†’ hold again, for as long as you stay aimed.

πŸ’‘ Notes

  • Time before is what keeps a quick ADS-and-shoot from triggering a hold you didn't want. Raise it if Hold Breath keeps kicking in on snap shots.
  • The mod works through the Sprint button, so your Button Layout has to match the one you actually use in-game β€” otherwise the presses land on the wrong action.

πŸšͺ Saving

Press Circle (β—‹) β€” or your Crouch button if you've set a custom Button Layout.
