Aim Assist Parameters Explained

Learn how RocketMod aim assist parameters work for left stick and right stick movement, including size, speed, shape, ADS settings, activation thresholds, boost strength, smoothing, and aim lock strength.

🚀 Aim Assist Parameters Explained 🇺🇸

📋 Content Summary

This guide covers all Aim Assist parameters in RocketMod:

  • Left/Right Stick Parameters - Size, speed, and shape controls
  • ADS Activation Parameters - Separate tuning for aiming vs hipfire
  • Activation Range Parameters - When aim assist kicks in
  • Advanced Parameters - Boost strength, smoothing, and aim lock

Estimated reading time: 3-5 minutes

🎯 Left Stick Parameters

Left Size
Controls the amplitude of movement generated on the left stick.

  • Higher = wider oscillation pattern
  • Lower = subtle, more discreet

Left Speed
Controls the speed of the left stick movement.

  • Higher = faster, more aggressive
  • Lower = slower, smoother

Left Shape
Defines the shape/pattern of the assist movement applied on the left stick.

🎯 Right Stick Parameters

Right Size
Controls the amplitude of movement generated on the right stick.

Right Speed
Controls the speed of the right stick movement.

  • Higher = more aggressive
  • Lower = smoother

Right Shape
Defines the shape/pattern of the assist movement applied on the right stick.

🎯 ADS Activation Parameters

Active on ADS

  • ON = aim assist works when aiming-down-sights and hipfire
  • OFF = aim assist only when hipfiring

Ads Left Size
Amplitude of left stick movement while aiming.
Typically set smaller for precise ADS tracking.

Ads Left Speed
Speed of left stick movement while ADS.
Usually slower for finer control.

Ads Right Size
Amplitude of right stick movement while ADS.
Allows separate tuning when scoped in.

Ads Right Speed
Speed of right stick movement while ADS.
Fine-tune for aiming comfort.

🎯 Activation Range Parameters

Activation Max
Maximum stick deflection at which aim assist remains active.

  • Higher = even large stick movements keep assist active
  • Lower = disables assist if you push the stick too far

Activation Min
Minimum stick deflection to trigger aim assist.

  • Higher = ignores tiny stick nudges (avoids accidental triggers)
  • Lower = activates with even small stick movements

🎯 Advanced Parameters

Boost Strength
Adds extra force/kick to stick movement to "break" enemy aim lock.

  • Higher = stronger, more noticeable
  • Lower = subtle

Smoothing Factor
Smooths out stick movement to feel more natural.

  • Higher = fluid, human-like motion
  • Lower = robotic, jittery motion

Aim Lock Strength
Defines how strongly the mod holds the crosshair on target.

  • Higher = stickier lock-on feel
  • Lower = more subtle, less detectable

❌ Silent Mod (Deprecated)

Silent Mod was removed after version 3.6.4 → 3.7.9.
It’s now integrated automatically in the script.

💡 Quick Summary

  • Left/Right Stick Size, Speed, Shape ➜ define oscillation pattern per stick
  • ADS Left/Right ➜ independent tuning for aiming-down-sights
  • Active on ADS ➜ toggle assist for ADS vs hipfire
  • Activation Min/Max ➜ define when aim assist kicks in
  • Boost Strength ➜ adds snap effect to the stick
  • Smoothing Factor ➜ makes movement fluid and natural
  • Aim Lock Strength ➜ sets overall stickiness to target
